Did you know that we often get purebred pets (pets with papers that have been registerd) and other kinds of designer breed, and highly sought after mixed breed dogs at the shelter? All of our animals needs loving homes but if you have your heart set on a certain breed, you should start by looking at the Humane Society of Huron Valley first!
We have many breeds that never make it up on PetFinder because they come in and get adopted by people that visit frequently. In fact, at least 35% of the animals that get adopted are never displayed on any of the pet search web sites. You might be searching online for a Poodle right now and never know that HSHV has a sweet little poodle just waiting for you!
