There are times that two companion animals come to HSHV and it is evident that they really need to be adopted together. If we witness behavior such as depression and lack of appetite when we separate animals, we can't in good consensus adopt them out as singles. Our "Perfect Pairs" as we call them, will only flourish when they have their lifelong companion with them. The "Perfect Pairs" below must be adopted together.

Meeko is a 7 month boy with beautiful tiger brown markings and a very playful and sweet disposition. Eli is
also 7 months old and has the glossiest black fur with touches of white here and there. Meeko and Eli were adopted together but then returned to the shelter because of allergies. Both are litter box trained, talkative and ready to find a new family! Visit Meeko and Eli in our "Community Cat Room" playing up a storm while they wait for their new family!

Maggie and Webster came to us because of a divorce and are glad to be together at this hard time. Maggie is a beautiful tiger,who is 8 years old, and Webster is 9 years old. These two wonderful cats are in our "Community Cat Room" where they can stretch out and enjoy a little feline conversation with the other cats.

Neo and Dex are best buddies! Neo is a very handsome 2 1/2 year boy with glossy black fur and a curious and friendly disposition. He will come right up to you to visit and get his cheeks scratched. He is a big baby, who just loves to follow you around the house and get tummy rubs.

JoJo and Mojo are a PURRRRFECT PAIR of sweet seniors who are ready for a new, forever home! They are here because their previous owner moved and did not take them along.

Sage(right) and Rosemary(left) came to the shelter together and really love each other. These poor babies have seen some hard times. It kind of looks like they were dumped outside together and because they were house cats, had a hard time on the streets, Rosemary is missing her tail and has a wound on her nose which is healing up. They rely on each other for comfort and want to be together in a new, loving, forever home! They are both 2-years-old, litter box trained and ready to find comfort in a warm and caring home.

Jinx (left) is a seven year old handsome guy who came to the shelter with Sirena (right). Sirena is 11 years old with a beautiful soft coat. They came from a home that had too many cats and need a home where they will get attention and be loved. Once here, we determined that Sirena is almost blind. Sirena is just the sweetest little girl, and will come forward to the front of the cage when you talk to her and just loves being petted. Jinx is a sweet cat and both enjoy attention. Jinx also helps Sirena get around and they both love each other. Both are litter box trained and ready to go to a new home today - together! Please come visit both Sirena and Jinx!

Mark and Bailey came to the shelter because their owner could no longer care for them.
They are litter box trained, front declawed and thus have to be indoor only kitties!
Because they are senior cats (9-years-old), they would do best in a quiet household.
We also know that they do not get along with dogs.

Kat and her best friend Taffy came to us together and need to be adopted together. Kat is a beautiful lynx point Siamese with big blue eyes. Kat is 5 1/2 years old and Taffy is 6 years old. Both cats are litter box trained and get along with dogs according to their previous owner.

Garcia is here with her brother Optimo. They both came from a household with too many animals to care for them properly. Garcia is a very pretty gray tiger with a muted pattern, almost tortie like. She's just 6 months old and is litter box trained and loves Optimo. If you visit and can't find them, please ask at the front desk. They both were sneezing so we have them in our isolation room where we can watch them and treat them so they can feel better.

Bagel goes with Butter! Bagel is a very friendly and curious and CUTE little ferret who is here with his sister Butter because their previous owner could no longer care for them. Bonnie(right) and her brother Precious(left) came to the shelter together when their owner passed away. Bonnie is a perfect example of a Tortie, with beautiful brown/orange markings. She is front declawed, and will have to be an indoor only cat. She is VERY friendly and comes right to the front of the cage for attention and pets.
Precious is a handsome 9 year old kitty, white with black/brown tiger markings here and there, like on his tail, ears and his cute little nose. He is front declawed, and will have to be an indoor only cat. He also is a little shy but SO wants to be petted and given attention. He just purred and purred when I was talking to him and petting him.

Little Ariel (right) is here with her sister Beauty (left). Their owner fell ill, and there was nowhere else for them to go. Ariel is a 4 1/2 year old orange tiger with white on her paws and face. She's pretty scared here at the shelter and is comforted by being with Beauty. Beauty is a gorgeous 4 and a half year old dilute torti with the coolest markings on her chin, a straight line between the black and tan! Jinger (top - calico) and Freddie (bottom - black and white) are sisters and came here together. Their previous owner could not care for them anymore and that has made them very sad. Snickers (Tiger) and Oliver (Orange Tabby) came to the shelter together and need to be adopted together. Snickers needs his buddy Oliver to help give him some courage, because he is quite afraid of things here at the shelter. Snickers is 5 years old, Oliver is 1 year old and both are litter box trained and good with other cats. They came to the shelter because there home had a new child addition and they couldn't stay. The poor cats have no idea why they are homeless.

Miss Mimsy and Regal Reginald are a purrfect pair of fluffy kitties. Mimsy is just 3 years old, and is front declawed, so she needs to be an indoor kitty. She has beautiful tortie markings, including a cute little splotch on her face and a few giant white whiskers. Reginald is a really handsome fellow, just 2 years old. Mimsy and Reginald are back at the shelter after having been adopted - allergies being the reason. Little Lillian and Sabrina came here from foster. Lillian got into something poisonous and was very ill when she first got here. Sabrina stayed by her side until she was better. We thank Stimpy (our shelter cat) the hero for donating his blood to help Lillian! She is a 3 month old brownish orangish tiger with just a wonder purr and sweet disposition. Baby and Diamond came into the shelter together and we want them to leave together!
They were taken in as strays when they were both little kittens but their former owner is moving and can't take them along. Baby and Diamond are friendly souls - good with children and dogs so their previous owner tells us. Baby is a little bigger than Diamond (his sister) and tends to look out for her. Baby and Diamond love to chase each other around the house and are very cute and cuddly together. They are just 6 months old.
