We originally came to HSHV to adopt an adult dog. We wanted a companion to love, but we figured a puppy would be too much training/ energy for us. Immediately when we walked up to Sadie’s kennel, we connected. She was putting her paws under the kennel trying to touch us and give us kisses. We decided to go for a walk and see how she did. Ultimately we ended up coming back the next day to adopt her.

Sadie has been the best dog we could’ve asked for. She loves to learn new tricks and be challenged with mental stimulation (like feeding toys), but also loves to cuddle with us when we want to relax. Her personality is quirky and silly! Sadie is our reason to smile everyday and we are forever thankful to HSHV for helping us get our perfect fit!
