Would your students like to enrich their learning by visiting the Humane Society of Huron Valley? Field trips to HSHV include two hours of hands-on animal fun led by our humane education staff and volunteers. The program includes an interactive shelter tour, a lesson in humane education, enrichment toy making for our furry friends and an animal interaction to teach youth how to safely approach and handle animals. We have programs suitable for grades K-8 that meet many Common Core Standards. Field trips are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from either 10 am – 12 pm or 1 pm – 3 pm and are $7 per person (up to 3 adults are free).

A minimum of 15 youth are required in order to schedule a field trip. Due to space limitations, we have a maximum of 40 children and 8 adults per program. Please complete the request form below to inquire about available dates and times.
