Adopt a Pet-of-the-Week!

These are some of our staff’s favorite animals. Shout out to our media partners for helping homeless pets find great homes! You can listen to us talk about these Pets of the Week on Thursdays around 7:30 a.m. on Ann Arbor’s 107one, 8:05 a.m. on WTKA, and around 10 a.m. on Saturday on 1290 AM WLBY.

The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-week is Boone!

Hello! My name is Boone! I am a handsome fellow on the search for my forever family. Come meet me today so I can show you what I am all about! I’m a high energy dog, and love to jump and play, so my energy may not be suitable for young children or cats. I’d also love to be your only dog, so that we can spend as much time as possible together!

The animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is Stan!

Hi my name is Stan! I am a shy kind of dog who is looking for a patient adopter willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get more comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality! Especially in a low-key household without any young kids or cats, where I can be your main focus. If you have any dogs already, I’d like to meet them before going home.

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Peppermint Patty!

Hi my name is Peppermint Patty, and I am an adorable kitten on the prowl for a forever home! I am very curious of the world around me and would love to have some guidance while I explore and learn. I’m looking for someone to be that person for me, will you be the one?

Peppermint Patty is Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive. FeLV is a virus which weakens a cat’s immune system, and is contagious to other cats — she should not live with other feline friends, unless they are also FeLV+. Ask us more about FeLV! 734-662-5585 or adoptions@hshv.org.
