You can listen to us talk about these Pets of the Week on Thursdays around 8:05 a.m. on WTKA, 8:20 a.m. on W4 Country, and 8:30 a.m. on Ann Arbor’s 107one, and around 10 a.m. on Saturday on 1290 AM WLBY.

Milo the cat

The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-Week is Milo

Bebop be doop boop boop. In a former life, Milo was a jazz player, and he’s carried that character into his current persona: laid back and smooth, with a major dose of cool. Milo can be curious and confident, but also chill as a cucumber. He prefers to riff with older children, in homes with no other cats. When this big guy isn’t bebopping to you, singing with you, or playing whatever instrument/toy you give him, he’s soaking up the sun wherever he can find it-up high, or down low (but preferably up high). Ready to start up a band with Milo?

Milo is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734) 662-5585 to arrange to meet Milo today!

All the animals available for adoption at the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

Sabina the dog

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is Sabina

Are you looking for a companion who will keep you busy? Are you looking for an adventuring buddy? Someone who’s daring and ready to explore the world? Then Sabina is your girl! This sweet girl definitely isn’t a couch potato and is ready to go go go! What she lacks in size she makes up for in personality and that personality is too big for two dogs in the same home so she’ll need a home where she’s the only canine companion. But she’ll zoom around the room as soon as she enters and wiggle her way into your heart. She doesn’t know how to sit still and will chase away the day with you.

All the animals available for adoption at the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

Sammy the cat

The W4 Country Pets-of-the-Week are Sammy and Sadie

Meet the perfect pair: Sadie and Sammy. Sadly these two lost their owner, but they have a strong bond and are ready to face it all together- falling in love with a new family, exploring a new environment, and perhaps shedding a pound or two by playing with their new humans! If you want to adopt 2 besties, and have a house without children under 5, Sadie and Sammy may just be the ones for you!

There are times when two animals find comfort and joy in a permanent relationship. These pets may have always been together, might be siblings, or may have become bonded here at the shelter. Whatever the reason might be, we understand that these special friends should always be together. If a pet is a “Perfect Pair” then they must be adopted with their partner. “Perfect Pairs” have special adoption fees which make it easier for families to make a commitment to the pair. They are currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call 734-662-5585 to arrange to meet them!

Mystery the cat

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Mystery

Are you looking for a companion to snuggle up with just in time for the chilly weather? If so, meet Mystery. Mystery may be a little well…mysterious at first, but don’t let that fool you! She’s really sweet and loving once you take the time to get to know her. She does not like sharing her humans once you get to know her, so no animal or children siblings please! Come meet Mystery today!

All the animals available for adoption by the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.
