Velma came in to HSHV this past summer with her friend Daphne as strays. She came with tons of wounds and painful paw injuries, but that never dulled her sparkle. Ajay is a kind kid indeed! For his birthday this year, Ajay asked his classmates to bring in donations for the animal residents at HSHV. He made a poster to remind his friends to bring in the donations and a box to collect the donations. To keep the donations safe, Ajay took them home with him after school every day for a whole week and was careful to keep his dogs at home away from them.
