End of May 2024 we adopted Applejack, who is now Fraggle. Because of his rough life he looks a bit disheveled and plucked. He is missing some teeth, so his pink little tongue is sticking out constantly, which makes him all the more loveable. He was surrendered by a family who took care of him as he approached their house and they fed him in the garage. They could not take him in, but loved him and brought him to the Humane Society. There, we found our kitty! He is sweet, loveable, gentle and totally laid back and stole our hearts in the first week. Our girl kitty, Sheba, hissed and growled at him for the first few days and he just looked surprised and non offended, even tried to lick her (more growling ensued…) Now, they eat in the same room but sleep (still) on different beds, just in opposite rooms. He loves to be cuddled and petted and is opening up more every day.
We brought Fraggle home only 4 weeks ago. He was fine but became lethargic and lost weight! Vet diagnosed toxoplasmosis and prescribed 3 weeks of antibiotics and an appetite stimulant. He is doing so much better now. Even had the energy to crawl under a cabinet and catch every cobweb on the way out. We are so happy he is on the mend.
