Christina recently started volunteering at HSHV and wanted to help make some different types of dog enrichment for the dogs to enjoy. She is a board member on her after school Key Club group, and she suggested they make braided dog toys. It was very successful, and now the dogs of HSHV are going to enjoy some fun new toys. Shelter Veterinarian Companion Animals – Michigan State University Dr. Reasons is a career changer. In her previous life, she worked as a CPA for a small firm in Michigan. But the veterinary field has always been her calling. She earned her DVM from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Her special interests include integrative and behavior medicine, and how she can incorporate those into a shelter setting. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, daughter and two “foster fail” cats.
