This is Max. He’s an amazing beautiful smart dog. He is Akita & Chow. He HAS to be the only animal in the home. I am not sure what happened prior to me getting him but he is reactive to all animals. Cats, small dogs, squirrels, birds, bunnies more so than bigger dogs or dogs his size but he still attacks them. I’ve tried training facilities and have worked with him endlessly, it’s just something we can’t break. He HAS to be the ONLY pet in the household. He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, knows basic commands, is amazing with kids of all ages from babies to teens, loves to lay with you and watch TV, he loves blankets and stuffed toys, tennis balls and ropes. He is fixed, up to date on shots & a lifetime microchip plan I can transfer to your name. I have to do what’s best for Max and find his goofy self a loving home where he can thrive. You MUST have a fenced yard and make sure he can’t dig underneath it. He’s gotten out from under my privacy fence. He does have a great recall so he will come when you call him if he’s gotten out but it’s not ideal here. I own another dog who he was fine with until last night when she walked past him to get on the couch and he lunged for her. I said “cage” and he went straight to his kennel because he knew he did wrong but he wanted more. He tried to lunge at her through the cage. She’s 7, I’ve had her since she was a puppy. He needs a home with no other animals. My kids jump on him, lay on him, walk him, etc and this is very sad for us but he can’t thrive here. He comes with his leash, prong collar, crate, regular collar, vet records, microchip info, harness, and his rabies certificate. Asking a rehoming fee of $350 as he is fully vetted and up to date.
