Earn a badge at our shelter (HSHV)

What: Held at our main shelter, this 90 minute scout program includes a shelter tour, a lesson on how animals communicate through body language, a volunteer activity and live interactions with animals.

When: Scout programs at HSHV are available Sundays 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Thursdays either 4:30-6pm or 5-6:30 p.m.

Where: HSHV (3100 Cherry Hill Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105)

Who: Due to limited space, scout programs at HSHV have a 20 child, 5 adult maximum (including all adults and siblings who may attend). Also, because parking is limited, carpooling is recommended.

Program Fee: $10 per person, with a $75 minimum fee, includes a unique scout badge for all child participants

Earn a badge at the Tiny Lions cat café

What: Held at the Tiny Lions lounge and adoption Center cat cafe, this 60-minute program includes information on the mission of Tiny Lions and HSHV, a lesson on how animals communicate, a volunteer activity, and plenty of face-to-face time and hands-on interactions with the cats in the cafe!

When: Scout programs at Tiny Lions Center are available Sundays 1-2 or 2-3 p.m. and Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Where: Tiny Lions lounge and adoption Center (5245 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103)

Who: Due to limited space, scout programs at Tiny Lions have a 15 child, 5 adult maximum (including all adults and siblings who may attend). Also, because parking is limited, carpooling is recommended.

Program Fee: $10 per person, with a $75 minimum fee, includes a unique scout badge for all child participants
