During the Polar Vortex, I could not get my mind off adopting a dog. Thinking about a poor dog shivering in the cold just didn’t sit well with my mind. So, the day where it snowed about an inch an hour (& school was closed!) we put on our boots and hats and made the 45 minute drive in the snow to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. My boyfriend and I looked up and down the halls and both immediately fell in love with Max. He sat on command and killed us with his beautiful eyes! Within an hour, he was ours!!!

Today, he enjoys long walks, sleeping in the middle of the bed, geese & squirrel chases and his baby stuffed elephant. He is the joy to our lives and we are so thankful for the Humane Society!
