**Rehoming Gidget: A Loving Pomeranian-Chihuahua Mix**

It absolutely breaks my heart to write this, but I need to do what’s best for everyone, including Gidget. She’s a 4-year-old Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix with a big personality in a small package, and she’s looking for a new home where she can thrive and feel at peace.

**About Gidget:**
– Gidget is a sweet and loyal companion who loves attention and snuggles from her favorite person.
– She has lived with other dogs and a cat, but she becomes territorial and doesn’t do well sharing her space. She can also display food-guarding behaviors around other animals.
– Gidget has a dominant personality and would do best in a home with no small children or other pets.
– She’s up to date on all vaccines and does very well at the vet and groomer.

**Why She’s Being Rehomed:**
This past year, I welcomed my first child, and despite my best efforts to work with Gidget, her stress levels around the baby and other pets have not improved. She growls and snaps, and I need to keep everyone safe, including Gidget. I truly believe she would be much happier in a calm home where she can relax and not feel so stressed or territorial.

**Ideal Home for Gidget:**
Gidget needs a calm, adult-only home where she can be the sole pet. She thrives on love and structure but needs an environment where she doesn’t feel the need to compete for attention or resources.

As much as this hurts to type, I know this is the best decision to keep all parties safe. Gidget is a wonderful dog for the right family and has so much love to give.
