You can listen to us talk about these Pets of the Week on Thursdays around 8:05 a.m. on WTKA, 8:20 a.m. on W4 Country, and 8:30 a.m. on Ann Arbor’s 107one, and around 10 a.m. on Saturday on 1290 AM WLBY.

Dee the rabbit

The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-Week is Dee

Meet Dee, a 6 year-old bunny looking for a forever home! Rabbits are intelligent that love to share their exuberance for life with the humans that they trust and love. They can have outgoing personalities like dogs or cats – greeting you at the door after a long day of work, sitting in your lap, and entertaining themselves with toys! Rabbits are clean and rarely need grooming, and can be litter-trained as well. However, they are not for everyone and should never be given as gifts. Dee would enjoy a home without small children under 5, with a family who is ready to devote the hours of care to her that is needed. Do you have a relatively quiet household that would benefit from a happy rabbit hopping around the space? Come meet Dee today!

All the animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

Claudia the cat

The W4 Country Pets-of-the-Week are Claudia and Lovey

Meet Claudia and Lovey! These two love each other and want to love you too! They are looking for a calmer home where they can relax on the couch, or perhaps in a nice bay window with a view. They would prefer a very spoiled life where they get a ton of attention and enrichment. If you are finding it hard to resist these two we hope you will adopt them today!

There are times when two animals find comfort and joy in a permanent relationship. These pets may have always been together, might be siblings, or may have become bonded here at the shelter. Whatever the reason might be, we understand that these special friends should always be together. If a pet is a “Perfect Pair” then they must be adopted with their partner. “Perfect Pairs” have special adoption fees which make it easier for families to make a commitment to the pair.
