I adopted Warren, the big gray kitty (previously known as Ziggy) in 2017. I was looking for a cat and was hoping to find an older one who would be a little tougher to adopt out. When I entered the communal cat room he immediately came up and sat next to me. The entire time I was in the room he purred continuously. I wandered around the shelter some more, but I knew he was the one. He’s roughly about 13 years old now and developed some health issues along the way, but he is living his best life now. I adopted Waylon (previously known as Spock) from the 7/10/20 Love Train. I had been wanting a dog but was waiting for the right time. Quarantine had me stuck at home and I realized that was the perfect time for a new puppy. He is about 6.5 months old now and weighing roughly 50lbs. Waylon provides Warren with an endless amount of kisses and Warren still looks at me confused about why the dog is bigger than him now. They’re quite the pair and the perfect companions.
