Silver Springs Girl Scout Daisy Troop: Animal journey
The girls of the Silver Springs Girl Scout Daisy Troop sold cookies and used some of their proceeds to buy fleece to make animal blankets. They made many cat blankets, dog blankets, bandannas, and cat toys. The girls are working on an animal journey that focuses on the care of companion animals. Shelter Veterinarian Companion Animals – Michigan State University Dr. Reasons is a career changer. In her previous life, she worked as a CPA for a small firm in Michigan. But the veterinary field has always been her calling. She earned her DVM from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Her special interests include integrative and behavior medicine, and how she can incorporate those into a shelter setting. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, daughter and two “foster fail” cats.
