Our daughter has asked for a dog since she could talk. She has had fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and hermit crabs, but we did not want a dog due to my husband’s dog allergy. We had been looking for a puppy for a while when we lucked out and happened to check the shelter in January of 2017 when several of the 19 Hines Park puppies went up for adoption. I came to the humane society looking for an adult cat to pair with my rambunctious kitten Drogo. Ginny (formerly Tilly), drew my attention immediately with her pretty markings and sweet charm. When the cage was opened, she immediately snuggled into my lap, and I knew she was the one! We brought her home, and her favorite place is right by my side on the couch!
