In 2017, Snuffy now known as Apollo enjoyed his first day in his new home, exploring and trying out every toy in his new toy box! Thanks to a tip from a Good Samaritan, nine allegedly neglected dogs have been rescued from homes determined unfit for living. Animal Cruelty Investigators from the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) found the dogs in two separate homes in Ypsilanti Township the first week of December.

We officially brought Yondu (the dog FKA Wrangler) on June 19, but we loved him before then! Yondu came home for a pajama party a few days earlier, and it only took hours before we knew he would be staying. He’s definitely one of the family! He loves snuggling with Mom and Dad (especially Dad), going to the dog park, and taking plenty of walks (he gets several every day!).
