Hi, my name is Montie and I’m now 4 years old. I was only 10 months old when my potential adopters who are now my mom and dad visited me at HSHV. After thinking about getting a cat for a while, I decided to visit HSHV just to look. I just wanted to meet a few cats and get an idea of what I was looking for in a cat. We adopted Athena in November 2015. She was wonderful with people and kids but had some reactivity to other dogs. With the support of HSHV’s Reactive Rover training class, we were able to learn skills to give Athena the support and structure she needed. In February 2020 while volunteering as a dog walker, I fell in love with Arlo. I wasn’t sure if Athena would accept Arlo.
