I kept the name Sweet William that HSHV so aptly gave him. I wanted a cat that would be gentle with my infant grandson. Not only is he gentle with the baby, he is so calm and affectionate that he serving as a hospice volunteer. He snuggles with patients and brings smiles to everyone he meets.

It’s been two months since I adopted Carina. She has taken over my second bedroom as her room. She is still a bit shy around the other animals. Its great to see her becoming comfortable and exploring the entire house. The vet has her on a special diet which has improved her overall health and actually has gained a little weight. Jet was a little baby when we first picked him up. We originally stopped by to check out a German Shepard.. but he wasn’t able to come home with other dogs:(. We then saw “Tezos” along with a couple other puppies around him. He caught my eye as soon as I saw him and now we’re forever best friends. I had a blue pit named scooter who I had to put down around six months ago. He was 13 1/2 years old. I wanted to get a dog right away, but I had an elderly cat. I waited until my cat passed away at 20.5 years old. Less than a week later, I came and adopted Jacks. I don’t have a fenced-in yard so I have to take him out on a leash.
