Pennies for the Animals

Canton Charter Academy is so kind!  The middle school students wanted to help a local organization and thought the animals at HSHV could use extra donations.   They ran a penny war challenge and collected lots of pennies!  Every penny donated during the weeklong challenge was donated to HSHV!  Thank you so much, Canton Charter Academy!  We are so grateful for your wonderful donation.

Love Carina ❤️

It’s been two months since I adopted Carina. She has taken over my second bedroom as her room. She is still a bit shy around the other animals. Its great to see her becoming comfortable and exploring the entire house. The vet has her on a special diet which has improved her overall health and actually has gained a little weight. She is so precious. 💕 Thank you.

He made himself right at home

I had a blue pit named scooter who I had to put down around six months ago. He was 13 1/2 years old. I wanted to get a dog right away, but I had an elderly cat. As you guys know, he is strong as a bull! I purchased a training collar that I haven’t started using yet. The day I brought him
