Living alone at the time, I was scrolling through the cats for adoption at HSHV and came across a cat who had the cutest face! I wanted an older kitty who deserved a second chance. After the loss of our chocolate lab mix Linus, we came to HSHV to find a dog. It was in 2021, so a lot of shelters were still closed due to COVID. We came looking for a dog and found that a group of puppies had arrived that day. We didn’t have an appointment so we couldn’t go in.
