I’m a smart, sweet, and devoted ~65lb Shepherd mix who is need of a new loving home. I may be 8 years old but I’ve barely slowed down–I love to run and play! I will always take scratches behind the ears and butt rubs make me do a silly wiggle. Give me a little time to adjust to a new environment and then I’m solid and loyal forever.

General info:
– I’m house-trained, neutered and up-to-date on shots
– I’m in great shape with no health concerns
– I’m flexible and adaptable with schedules for eating/sleeping/going out
– I’ve got great table manners and respects your stuff when home alone

My favorite things:
– exploring the woods or playing any kind of game that involves chasing or swimming
– people of all ages (especially if they will play)
– going for a car ride (I’ve done many a road trip)
– learning and showing off tricks (I love a mental/physical challenge)

Things to know:
– I thrive with access to off-leash space, mental stimulation and playtime
– I will try to herd cats and other small creatures (other dogs are ok)
– I could use some training around leash reactivity and defensive behavior (barking and lunging but no biting)
