Almost 2 years ago, my husband and I decided we wanted to bring a kitten into our home; we already had two loving dogs. We went to HSHV and did not make it much past the front desk before we met a kitten I knew would get her forever home that day. So starts the story of Persephone, Eris, and Pugsley. Persephone was an abandoned kitten who was left in a box with her mom when some kind soul found them and brought them to the shelter. Eris and Pugsley were fortunate not to have had a traumatic experience prior to going to the shelter!
Persephone is now almost 2 and rules the house! She has made a best friend out of her doggie sister Aurora and plays mommy to the other two kitties, Eris (1 year 3 months) and Pugsley (4 months), who were also rescued from the shelter. Persephone has made me her human and has started to warm up to my husband. She has flourished and come out of her shell very nicely! As for Eris and Pugsley, they are inseparable and have attached themselves to my husband. They play together, pal around, and snuggle with each other and Aurora. They became fast friends! We look forward to all the adventures with our crew! Thank you to all who affected our fur babies’ lives and allowed us to make a forever home for them!
