We had been looking for a puppy for a while when we lucked out and happened to check the shelter in January of 2017 when several of the 19 Hines Park puppies went up for adoption. Hope, now Penny, was so sweet, I knew she was for us. She immediately took to my daughter, and they are still two peas in a pod. Penny will be two this month, and she’s made our furry family complete. She even mostly gets along with her kitty brothers, one of which is also a HSHV alumni.
