Kent is a lovely boy who values the great outdoors and open air. He’s stressed and anxious here in the shelter and does not like the confinement a kennel provides. He would do best with a foster able to be home frequently to avoid crating him, as Kent can be an escape artist around doors and crates and is smart enough to figure some of them out! His leash manners have been improving since adding a harness to his walking regimen. Kent rides well in the car and will lay down to chew on soft toys, and loves a good hike through nature preserves and settles down right after a big adventure, or to go to our Ed Center to romp around with toys! Kent is a relaxed, goofy boy when given the opportunity to decompress out of his kennel. He could go with another dog who is tolerant of a pushy young male dog with a successful intro.
