We are orphans, please rehome us!

I’m Khufu, a Basenji mix. I am named after an ancient Egyptian monarch. I can’t bark because of my breeding. I’m a cuddler. I still have some fun energy and love prancing around with my sister. I was adopted by mamma in the US around 9 yrs ago. We think I’m about 10 years old.

We are Isa and Khufu and need a new forever home because our mamma died in Mexico last month. We were with her there an just endured a long trip back to Michigan. Her last wish was for us to stay together in a loving family atmosphere. Our mamma’s human daughter lives in Ann Arbor but she can’t keep us. She has been with us through this heartbreaking ordeal. We like her a lot because she walks us every day and gives us lots of love. Our mamma hasn’t been able to do this for us for a while and that makes us sad.
We are cat, dog and children friendly. We enjoy romping around together, but we also really like to chill out and snuggle. We are up-to-date on our vaccinations, are microchipped, spayed & neutered and have all our medical records.
